How can I find the boss in the boss level?

Look next to your ship. The scrolling arrow indicates the boss.

What's the yellow bar to the right of the screen?

Your energy. When your energy is depleted, you lose one life, and all your power-ups. The little arrows along the bar indicate the maximum energy you can hold. Blue "S" powerups will raise that maximum and blue "E" powerups will refill your energy.

Why is there a red bar next to the energy bar during the boss levels?

That bar indicates how much energy the boss has left

Bosses are too hard to kill.

Here's a few tips: Don't engage the boss unless your energy level is high. If during the fight you get hit by the boss, turn away and go get a blue powerup (shoot some asteroids until you get one). Also, engaging the boss without having lots of firepower will make the task much more difficult. As for avoiding the enemy fire, try going around the enemy ship counter clockwise... If you do all that, the boss fights will be much easier!

How many levels exist in the game?

There are 25 levels.

Is there a difficulty setting?

No. Like 1980's arcade games, the levels are increasingly difficult. Casual gamers will appreciate the easier levels while hardcore gamers will concentrate on beating the clock to obtain the higher scores.

Why do you need to transmit the device id when submitting a high score?

So that there is only one high score per device.

Can the device id be used maliciously.

Not really. It's just a unique "serial number" that uniquely identifies your device. There's no way of knowing who you are or where you live, or even which device you have, using that information alone.

Why only one high score per device?

To allow more people to have a spot in the leaderboard.

Do you share device ids with anyone else?

Never. I will never share your device's DUID with anyone. I am a firm believer of online privacy and online ethics. Your device id is strictly used to limit the number of high scores you can upload using one device. That's it, that's all.
